“No Bag Day” For Class V

School had organized various activities on the “No Bag Day” for the students of class V on 6 th April 2024. The day was devoted to practical and experiential learning activities. The students   participated in Art and Craft , English

Calligraphy, Health and Wellness, Personality Development, Dance and Music and Know Your Tables. 

The objective was to bring about holistic learning in a healthy way.

English Calligraphy Activity

English Calligraphy Activity was conducted on 15th April for classes I-V, to encourage students to improve their calligraphy skills.

Earth Day Activity

Earth day is a reminder for all of us to save our Mother Earth and make continuous efforts while doing so. To encourage our little Pratapians to celebrate every single day as Earth Day, on 20 th April 2024 the students of classes I to V enthusiastically participated in an Art Activity to show their love and care.

Name the Number Activity

 Name the Number Activity was conducted on 25 th April for classes I & II to develop numeracy, cognitive skills and number sense among the students.

Mother’s Day Activity

Mother’;s Day is a special occasion celebrated to honour mothers all over the world. In our school, students from classes I to V embarked on a wondrous Card-Making Activity. The air buzzed with excitement as young minds embraced the chance to craft tokens of affection for their mother.

English Mass Recitation Competition

“Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.” — Robert Frost

On 6th July 2024, the students of Class V participated in an English Mass Recitation Competition with full zeal and vigour.The event celebrated their eloquence and creativity, as each student recited the poem with enthusiasm and poise, impressing the judges.

Health and Hygiene Activity

Health and Hygiene are essential. It’s never too early to start being concerned about your health.

Therefore, we tried to inculcate awareness among our little ones for their healthier future through a health drive, conducted by the students and teachers of classes l and ll on 10th July, 2024.

Gala Assembly (Van Mahotsav)

On the occasion of Van Mahotsav, a special assembly was conducted by the students of classes VA and IV C. It was delightful to listen to the choir group. The dance performances of the students mesmerized everyone. The role- play gave a strong message to conserve our forests and reaffirm our collective commitment to protect the environment for future generations .The assembly ended with a pledge taken by the students to safeguard the environment.

English Mass Recitation Competition

Poetry is thoughts that breathe and words that burn.”

A thought well said by Thomas Gray was captivatingly brought to life by the students of classes l and ll through their spirited intonation of poetry. The young ones brought life to the poet’s words with their engaging and lively performance.

A Visit to the Library

“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you will go.”

Students of class I & II were taken to the school library to inculcate in them , the habit of reading and love for books. The students found the visit quite enthralling.

English Mass Recitation Competition

Poetry comes alive through recitation.

Pratap Public School Sector-6, Karnal organised English Mass Recitation Competition on 29th July, 2024 for classes III and IV. It was a well coordinated group recitation where all participants recited a pre-selected poem together showing their best expressions. The winning sections were appreciated by Principal Dr. Puja Walia Mann and Incharge Jr. Wing Ms. Ritu Seth.

हिंदी काव्य गायन प्रतियोगिता

प्रताप पब्लिक स्कूल सेक्टर-6 में 29 जुलाई 2024 को हिंदी काव्य गायन प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। कक्षा पहली और दूसरी के विद्यार्थियों ने सामूहिक गायन में अद्भुत प्रतिभा के प्रदर्शन से निर्णायक मंडल को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। प्रत्येक कक्षा में एक सकारात्मक व सुरम्य वातावरण से सब का मन प्रफुल्लित हो रहा था।

हिन्दी भाषण प्रतियोगिता

दिनांक 2 अगस्त 2024 को प्रताप पब्लिक स्कूल, सेक्टर-6 में हिन्दी भाषण प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। कक्षा पांच के विद्यार्थियों ने अपने आत्मविश्वास व अभिव्यक्ति से निर्णायक मंडल को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया। सभी विद्यार्थियों की शब्दावली, प्रस्तुति,और भाषा के आधार पर निर्णायक मंडल ने अपना निर्णय घोषित किया।

Independence Day Celebration

The students of Class V C and IV A dazzled everyone with their Independence Day gala assembly. The event started with a thought-provoking quote, followed by a powerful speech that ignited patriotic fervor. A melodious song filled the air, while the freedom fighters’ role play brought history to life. The final event was a dynamic dance performance, showcasing their incredible talent and boundless enthusiasm for the nation.

Independence Day Art Activity

To celebrate Independence Day, the primary students of classes I to V were engaged in vibrant art activities that allowed the students to express their patriotism and creativity.

English Declamation Competition

English Declamation Competition of class IV was organized on 17th August, 2024 at Pratap Public School with the aim to foster public speaking skills and confidence among the students. They participated enthusiastically. The competition was a resounding success, showcasing the remarkable talent and dedication of our students.

Distribution of Saplings

In honour of the campaign ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam’ led by our revered Prime Minister, Pratap Public School, Sec-6, Karnal, distributed saplings to students of classes III to V  to save our mother earth.

Paper Bag Activity – Say No to Plastic

Earth is our most beautiful and precious home, and there’s no other planet like it. To preserve its beauty, we must take action now. By reducing, reusing, and recycling, we can make a significant impact.

To combat plastic pollution, students from Classes l and ll crafted eco-friendly paper bags. The aim of this activity was not just to showcase their creativity but to encourage them all to adopt sustainable habits and say no to plastic for a healthier environment.

Science 3D model making activity

Science 3D model making activity was conducted by our budding scientists of classes III – V. The activity not only reinforced scientific concepts but also developed skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and communication.

Dental check-up

Dental check-up for classes l and ll was organised in Pratap Public School , Sector-6, Karnal. Dr Siddhant Pathak informed the students about the importance of oral health and hygiene.

Teacher’s day Celebration & Solo dance Competition

Teacher’s Day Celebration was a delightful occasion filled with heartfelt gestures of gratitude from the students. A beautiful song resonated in the air, sung with passion and love for the teachers who nurture and inspire. Solo Dance competition was organised on this occasion wherein the participants gave their spectacular performances which were appreciated by one and all. The students expressed their love and respect through their intricately crafted cards. The atmosphere was adorned with respect and admiration, creating a memorable tribute to the dedicated educators.

Exciting Day at the Traffic Park!

On September 19, 2024, Pratap Public School, Sector 6, Karnal organized a thrilling visit to the *Traffic Park* for the enthusiasts of Class 2. It was a day filled with fun and valuable lessons about road safety.

At the park, students explored miniature road signals and small versions of vehicles, making the experience both educational and engaging. They learned the importance of various traffic signals, essential road signs, and the crucial practice of wearing seat belts in cars.

Everyone had an amazing time, filled with fun and learning.

Cooking Without Fire Activity

The kindred spirit and blossoming talent of our young ones was on display through the ‘Cooking Without Fire’ activity for Class-I, on 21st September,2024 organised by Pratap Public School,Sector-6,Karnal under the programme CREATIVE BOND- A Day of Fun and Togetherness.

The immense joy of the tiny tots and enthusiastic participation of the parents was commendable.

Class II

‘Best Out of Waste’ Activity

To foster long-lasting and enjoyable learning experiences for students, Pratap Public School , Sector-6 ,Karnal organised an engaging event on 21st of September, 2024. It was ‘Best Out of Waste’ activity for Class-II , under the programme CREATIVE BOND – A Day of Fun and Togetherness.

The involvement of parents added another layer of support and encouragement, as they joined hands with their children, truly emboding the spirit of learning and fun.

Global Handwashing Day

On October 15, 2024, Pratap Public School, Sector 6, celebrated Global Handwashing Day with enthusiasm! This year’s theme, “Why are clean hands still important?” highlighted hand hygiene’s crucial role in preventing infection.

Class I and II’s shining stars discovered the power of clean hands through engaging Handwash Hygiene activities. They mastered the simple yet lifesaving steps.

Fairy Tale Presentation

“Every fairy tale is a story of transformation, where the impossible becomes possible.”

 Pratap Public School, Sector-6, Karnal organized Fairy Tale Presentation by the students of Classes I & II. The students engaged the audience with their dynamic storytelling, emphasizing the importance of hard work and planning. Enacting fairy tales is a holistic educational experience that nurtures both personal and academic growth.

No Bag Day

No Bag Day organized by Pratap Public School, Sector 6, provided students with a unique and enriching experience that combined enjoyment with valuable educational lessons. Through engaging activities held by different clubs such as Art and Craft, Physical Fitness, Health and Wellness, Sensitivity to the Environment, and Personality Development, the students were able to learn in a fun and frolic way. This event not only offered a break from traditional classroom learning but also fostered creativity, holistic well-being, environmental awareness, and personal growth among the students.

Diwali Art Activity

Pratap Public School, Sector 6, celebrated the spirit of creativity by hosting the vibrant series of Art and Craft activities for the students of classes 1-5. The young artists created beautiful wall hangings using different decorative materials. They not only showcased their creativity and uniqueness but also brought an essence of joy and positivity to our Diwali celebrations.
