Pratap Public School Sector 6 Organises Inter House English Poem Recitation Competition

With a view to whet and ignite love for poetry among the students Inter House Poem Recitation Competition
was successfully organized on 3 May,2025 at the auditorium witnessing enthusiastic participation from students of classes IX and X. The event aimed to encourage students to develop a love for poetry and enhance their public speaking skills.

The participants recited poems ranging from classic poets to contemporary voices. Each student showcased not only their memorization skills but also expressive delivery, pronunciation, and emotional interpretation.

The audience was captivated by the performances, and the judges appreciated the overall high standard of recitations. After careful deliberation, the winners were announced:
• 1st Prize: Jahanvi 10 D
• 2nd Prize: Hansika 10 F
• 3rd Prize: Tanya 9 E

Consolation Prize: Gauri 10 F
Jiya 9 E

The Principal, Dr Puja Waalia Mann praised the efforts of the participants and encouraged all students to explore the beauty of poetry. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms Mona singh and Ms. Divya leaving everyone inspired by the power of words and expression.
