An informative talk on Cyber Crime and Digital Literacy

In a commendable initiative to raise awareness among students, Partap Public School, organised an informative talk on cyber crime and Digital literacy today. The event was attended by students and teachers all eager to gain insight into staying safe in the digital world. The session was led by guest speaker, Ms. Manjula Sularia, a life skill coach, and director at Prasanchetas foundation . Ms. Sularia was presented an ornamental plant as a token of our appreciation. Addressing a packed hall, the speaker shed light on various forms of cyber crimes such as phishing, hacking, online fraud, cyber bullying and identity theft. Real-life case studies were presented to illustrate how such crimes occur. Emphasising the growing relevance of digital literacy, the speaker, encouraged students to think critically about the information they consume and share online.
The session also included a question answer round where students actively participated asking questions about social media safety, password protection, digital arrest and how to report cyber crimes. Principal Dr . Puja Waalia Maan praised the event and stated that we are proud to equip students with the knowledge they need to stay safe online.
The session ensured that students not only thrive academically but also grow into responsible digital citizens.
