Teachers Training Session "School Health And Wellness", 26,27/04/2025

A two days Teachers Training Session, 26 April- 27 April, 2025, on ‘School Health And Wellness’ was conducted at Pratap Public School, Sector 6, Karnal by CBSE resource persons Dr. Puja Waalia Mann , Principal, Pratap Public School, Sector 6 and Mr. Satya Chaudhary, Principal,Sofia Convent School , Sonepat. As per school management’s keen recommendation, such professional development programs and workshops for the faculty members are conducted at school time to time.

More than sixty teachers attended this program enthusiastically . The educators brought to light the emotional , mental and physical challenges affecting a child’s performance in adolescence stage. Through significant case studies, videos, enriching and interactive discussion sessions and intensive activities, the resource persons suggested effective ways to ensure their physical, mental and emotional well being and to develop a bond of mutual respect with children. As healthy mind and healthy body , both play a pivotal role in holistic growth of an individual, the emphasis was laid on managing emotions, ensuring safety , interpersonal relationships, food and nutrition and prevention of child from substance abuse at this crucial age.

It indeed was a learning session, both as teachers and parents for all present in the auditorium.
